Anaptych
Designed and implemented multi-touch Java presentation software named “Anaptych” for AFRL at Wright-Patterson AFB through Ball Aerospace.
I coined the named “Anaptych” from the prefix “ana-“ meaning “up”, and “ptych” meaning “fold” (as in Triptych). I also create other words.
The idea was to have an interface for slideshows to scroll vertically through slides as well as horizontally.
I still think that is a good idea…
The hardware was from Perceptive Pixel. I attended INFOCOMM in June 2012 where PPI had a booth, and I had a chance to talk to some of the developers.
Then in July 2012, it was announced that Microsoft was acquiring PPI.
